Add your first memory

UnifiedMemory is optimized for atomic, reusable facts. The retain path accepts raw content, but the runtime should preserve evidence and promote only useful claims.

Good candidates

  • Owner preferences that should affect future work.
  • Project decisions with durable consequences.
  • Tool outcomes or fixes that are likely to recur.
  • Current canonical facts with clear scope.

Bad candidates

  • Full assistant answer dumps.
  • Greetings, acknowledgements, emoji-only messages.
  • Generic web facts unrelated to the owner or project.
  • Secrets, credentials, cookies, or bearer tokens.
  • Smoke, benchmark, eval, or diagnostic rows.
